Recent Happenings

Good Morning!!
When I saw it had been six days since I wrote anything, I was shocked. That is the longest I have ever been quiet. A lot of things have happened since then.

We did have a nice vacation until I became sick and I mean sick. I don't know when I have been that sick. It was horrible and I did not want anyone to have what I had, but my sweet husband wanted to join me in my misery.

When we were with our son, I did catch a horrible virus. When you say "sick as a dog," well, that was me. In all my sickness, I picked up my clothes to put in the washer and did not check my pockets. My cell phone was in one pocket and my memory stick in the other. They were both washed. My cell phone is dead and if you are like me and dedicated to that phone, it is difficult to live. The memory stick is all right, but the cell will be having a transplant in a day or two. I have ordered a SIMS card and hope that it works.

We arrived home on Saturday and my sister brought our mother back home from the nursing home. It is good to be home. If I could have clicked my heels and gotten home any faster, I would have.

There is a lot to do here today. This is the best day I have had in several days. Our suitcases are open in the spare bedroom and I must get them put away. Also, I need to work on my manuscript today. I am at a very exciting place and want to get it going better. My daughter-in-law was asking about my book and I told her the plot. She stopped what she was doing and said, "You had all that in your head?" She would be surprised if she knew what else I had stored up there. I am already thinking about a sequel to the book I am writing.

Hopefully, you are having these beautiful blue sky's that we are. It is a wonderful morning to be alive. Be thankful for these beautiful days, you can remember them when the sky is gray.
