A Little Snow
This morning was one of those mornings that you snuggled down farther in the bed and did not want to get up. My husband had quietly gotten up earlier to work on his Power Point presentation for his class on Sunday mornings. I was sleeping so well that I did not wake up. Of course when I did wake up, I did not want to get up. I knew I had things to do, so I finally convenienced my self do so. When I looked out, we had a very small amount of snow. It was certainly not like the snow a lot of people have been having.
Yesterday was a good day for me to write. I was to a place where I did not know how to get my characters to one important place. As I started writing the boring part, it all came to me and away I went. At 1:30 p.m., my husband came up to see what had happened to me. It was past time to eat! He is such a wonderful man that he went to the frig, got out the chicken pot pie and filled his plate and zapped it in the microwave. He was so quiet, like he did not want to disturb me.
Yes, we did go out to Burger King last night! We stopped on the way to church and the nursing home. I always go by to see my mother on the way to church. We will eat out next week while we are in Paducah, KY and Nashville. If we don't eat out at my son's, my sweet daughter-in-law will have barbeque for us to eat. We love barbeque and it is so good in that part of Kentucky.
Yesterday was also a miserable day, so I decided I would wait until today to get our last minute shopping finished before we leave. I do believe it would have been warmer at 27 degrees than 17 degrees. It does not do to procrastinate, now I have to go out in colder temps. Looks like I would learn not to do that!
I will not procrastinate today, too many other things to do. Have a wonderful day!
