Another Rainy Day

The song says, "Rainy days and Monday's always gets me down." Rainy days always refresh me and make want to write. Maybe it is because the air is cleaner. Whatever it is, I want to sit at the computer and write, write, write.

So as soon as the dishes are in the dishwasher and the clothes are in the washer, I will write. I never get tired of writing. My back gets tired, but the words keep coming.

On J.K. Rowling's site, she said that Harry Potter had entered her dreams at night. Well, the other night, my characters entered mine. Now, I don't think my book will be a Harry Potter, although it would be nice. I will be happy if mine doesn't rest in the trash can.

So many complain about the rain. Once a friend of mine said that rain was liquid sunshine. I try to remember that. When my children were small, it was a time to make a tent in the family room and have a picnic. Now, that I am older, I love the rain. Today will be a writing day.
