Lovely Day

This morning was a day I wanted to stay in bed. My darling husband decided that he would snore all night, so I did not get to sleep until the wee morning hours. I punched, patted and prodded, but it did no good. He even snored on his side, on his stomach and his back. Finally, he quieted and I went to sleep.

The most sensible thing would have been to go to bed when he did, but I was busy. After doing corrections on my manuscript, and still not sleep, I decided to read for a while. I am reading Petticoat Ranch by Mary Connealy. It has been a long time since I have laughed out loud while I read a book. It is so funny! As I read, I could see her writing in her crown and her cape. I am truly enjoying the book. We all need to read those comic books.

After a day of dealing with the company that supplies the Lift Chair we are getting, I was ready for something funny. Last month, in fact February 15, I ordered the chair and as of this minute, it is not here. Yesterday I made a couple of calls, with no results. Finally, I called the supervisor of the office and hopefully we will get the chair this morning. If not, I may call the corporate office. This is ridiculous and I have heard all the excuses. First, they could not get the info from the doctor, (that went on for two weeks) then they could not get approval from the insurance company, now I have a promise and we will see how it goes. I know tomorrow never comes, or so I have been told.

This is such a beautiful day, that I won't let anything get me down. This week-end, the weatherman is calling for a little snow. That is okay, it is still spring, well, almost.
