The Weekend is Over

Yes, the week-end is over and a new week begins. It has been so beautiful here and also very warm for this time of the year. The dogwoods are beginning to swell and they will be blooming soon. Also, the red buds will bloom. I have noticed some trees that are turning a light green, so they will have leaves before long.

I do like the winter because I can see all my neighbors houses when the leaves are gone. When summer comes, the trees hide several houses. Several of us always look out our windows at night to make sure the others are all right. I guess you could say we have a "neighborhood watch." Really, it is just neighbors who are concerned and care about others.

Yesterday morning, while my husband was at church, I did get to write some. I am so excited about what I wrote. It sounded good to me, as I wrote it, but I will have to read it again, and I know correct a lot of errors. A friend of mine calls herself an onion writer. It seems, I am the same way. I write in layers.

They are bringing my mother's lift chair today. Hopefully, it will help her in getting up and sitting down. Her back is hurting her today, so I guess this will be a good day to bring it.

My husband brought a pack of day lilies to me this morning. I love day lilies. There is a farm close to me that grow them and I would love to go to their sale day in June. They are so pretty.

Enjoy this day. I hope it is beautiful and warm for everyone. Of course, that is just wishing, because I know it is not everyplace.
