LAZY DAY

Good Morning!

Yesterday was a lazy day in some ways. I did not make it very often to the computer, but I did get a lot of housework done. At least, it was a lot for me. I am very slow working, but I needed to get some floors mopped and do some cleaning in my kitchen.

The weather has been so nice here in East Tennessee. It seems that spring is here early. We saw bluebirds for the first time Thursday. My husband has several bluebird houses around the yard. One female bluebird had made claim to one house and perched on the top to keep a thrush away from it. She was very protective of her house.

When the bluebirds come, I have a beautiful view of nature. One bluebird house is outside my kitchen window. I can stand there and cook or do dishes and watch them feed their young and listen to their songs. It makes me so happy to watch them.

I have big plans for today. There is so much to do to get ready for spring. I love the freshness of the grass and trees. There will be a burst of color before long with the dogwoods and red buds blooming. God has given us so much to enjoy and be thankful for. Have a wonderful week-end.
