A Perfect Life
Do we all expect to have a perfect life? In reality, we should not, but in the dream world, we do. We expect to have no problems with husbands, children, friends and our families. No so. Why do we have these problems?
We have no guarantees of having a perfect life, but we can make it as perfect as it can be. Our Lord's life was as perfect as it could get, but think about what our Lord had to deal with. He dealt with people selling in the temple. He dealt with Peter's unbelief and Judas betrayal. Constantly he was faced with people wanting to kill him and not believing in what he taught. Jesus succeeded in teaching others with his love.
Is that the clue? Love. The more we love, the happier we will be. Now, I don't mean sexual love, I mean love of our mankind. Do we love everyone? Oh, yes, you may say, I can love anyone. Do you love the man that killed your child? Do you love the person who fired your husband from his job? Do you love the prostitute on the corner? We all need to learn to love the sinner, not the sin.
When we learn to love and care for mankind, our life seems to become calmer. Our life will also have more meaning. It does take some work and study of God's Word to have a more loving attitude. Have a great loving day.

So true. Sometimes I think we think we deserve an easy life but that's not the way it is, is it? :)
