I've Been Lazy

Yes, I have been very lazy. Well, not really that lazy, just couldn't come up with time to write on the blog. It seems my house is always busy. My husband always has a garden. It was so dry at first and now that we have rain, we have been busy with freezing corn for the last two weeks. We will probably have another week of corn, but we are through for this week. Then my writing is going crazy. We have four critique partners, but one of them is very close to me. After talking to her for some time, I took a completely different turn on my manuscript. I like this one better. I now know what I am doing, not completely, but better. I decided to take the characters in a completely different turn and it's exciting. I sat down and wrote like crazy. I think it is coming together better. We will see when it is critiqued. I have also written a devotional and it is in the second critique. Hopefully it is better this time. You get more ideas when someone else reads your work. This was my first critique with this group and it wasn't too bad. Now, I'm almost ready with the manuscript to see how it goes. This week, I also finished Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. It was so good. I have enjoyed all of the Harry books, but I think this is the best.
