Dog Days of Summer

We are in the middle of the Dog Days of Summer, and it is hot! My air conditioner runs most of the time, so I dread to see the bill next month. We have lived through this every year, so I am sure we will suffer it again this year. It is uncomfortable.

I think I have finished my first chapter of my book. That is, it is critiqued, or in the last critique. I have learned so much with the writing of this first chapter. I have re-written it so many times and even changed the whole book.

Now, I am going to start polishing the second chapter. It is written, but not polished. I think it will be easier.

So, in the midst of this hot weather, I am pushing on the chapter number two.
