Working Hard
For the last few days I have been writing and trying to finish my work in progress or, WIP. I have to set a time on paper to write. I make a schedule, I've probably told you this before but it doesn't hurt to tell you again.
All of my married life, I have scheduled everything I did, well almost everything I did. If I don't schedule, I don't work. When I started writing, I did not schedule, but when I did schedule, I worked harder to get something finished. Now, I try to work six or seven hours each day on writing. Yes, the rest of my life is on hold now. I do have to schedule a day to do laundry, house clean and even wash dishes. It is on my schedule.
I guess I am a big believer to put things on paper. During the time I have been writing, I have also prepared a presentation for our local Ladies Day at church. We have a Saturday where ladies from our area get together for a morning of worship and lunch. No men, just ladies. The men do serve our lunch at our congregation. Our spring topic is "The Worthy Woman" and taken from Proverbs 31. This has been an interesting study and I have managed to put it on Power Point. I am almost ready for May 17 to roll around. Most of it is finished.
My ideas are pressing me to finish this WIP and hopefully get it published. I want to do it so badly. It has a message in it and I hope everyone will enjoy reading it as much as I have enjoyed writing it.
