A Little R&R
Everyone needs a little time to rest and reclaim their lives. This is our few days of rest and relaxation.
My husband and I are at Cumberland Falls State Park outside of Corbin, KY. It is beautiful and very peaceful. They gave us a room with a "better view "than the one first assigned to us. It does have a good view of the Cumberland River and the woods around it. If anyone ever wants to come here, I highly recommend it. The rooms are excellent and the food is good. We are truly enjoying it.
This also gives me writing time. My manuscript is seeing a complete revamping. The plot is staying the same, but some shorter chapters are being included with the one before or after it. I have also learned to read the book out loud to hear how it flows. This is working well for me. I have seen many things I should have not included that I thought would sound good. Believe it or not, they did not sound that good out loud.
We have also been walking. We started to the falls, but our old legs would not make it all the way. We are going to get in the car and drive as far as we can instead of making the 1.5 mile walk down 200 feet. Steps are really bad when your knees don't work too good.
The Lord has given us such a beautiful earth. Enjoy where ever you live because it is unique and beautiful. Whether, the dessert, mountains or seaside, it is a gift from God.

My in-laws were there a couple weeks ago and enjoyed it also. Hope you have fun.
