Busy, Busy, Busy

When it rains, it pours has been told to me so many time. Right now, we need the rain, but I am not referring to physical rain.

We have jokingly said we have a Bed and Breakfast. Family has been dropping by all summer. I love having them, and it makes me feel like I must be doing something right with my family. At least, they like to visit and sit and stay a while.

Yesterday, my nephew from Scotland visited. We do not get to see him but every two years, and it's always good to try to get caught up with family. Two of his children were with him and his wife. Since we don't see them that much, it takes a while to catch on to the Scottish accent, but after about an hour, I do better. The children are in university, which we say college. Bethany is taking violin in Edinburgh and Scott will be taking a music course, more in the technical part. They have matured so much and are such beautiful children. We had not seen Bethany and Scott in four or five years, so they had really grown. Jon and Arlene's oldest son is working here in the US and we have seen him along through the years. Our plans are to go to Scotland in 2008.

Besides all the company, I am taking two writing workshops. I am behind, way behind. It is very interesting and I have learned a lot. I need to try to catch up today.

My book is at a standstill right now. I should say, "I am stuck!" Everyone tells me that it happens to all writers. I've been rushing the romance, and I need to slow it down. That is hard to do. I want to put a whammy in it. I want them to become sorta involved, and then there is going to be a big road block. We will see how it comes about.

One reason that I am blocking is that I want to write an article about the love of Jesus. This keeps putting stops in my novel. I will have to stop and do it, then I can write.
