Life is so Good

Each day we live, something exciting happens. Just to see a sunset or a sunrise is so good. It means that God has let us live a little longer to enjoy these beauties.

Last night, I was reading the emails form American Christian Fiction Writers, and I read where a friend and sister in Christ won first place in the Book of the Year Award. Christine Lynxwiler received that honor for her novella, "Home for the Holidays," published by Barbour.

Chris is such a humble person, that she would never have proclaimed it to anyone. Not me, I would have had it on every list that I am on and every newspaper, radio and television station in my area. So, I have no shame.

Seriously, I am so happy that Chris won this award by hard work and wonderful writing. If you have never read any of her books, do get them. "Arkansas" and "Promise Me Always" are very good. She describes the scenes to make you feel you are there.
