Are you Positive or Negative?
This year, as I have stated before, I am looking at things more positive. Everything we do in our life can be positive or negative. It is how we look at it.
If you ask anyone about their life, they will most likely tell the negatives before the positives. It is easier to make people feel sorry for you than to make them think they don't understand what you are going through.
Years ago, we knew a lady who never could say anything good. She was always complaining (believe it or not, negatives are complaining). When she would come to church and you said, "Sister Grumpy, how are you today?" She would reply, "I have a headache and it is so cold that I didn't think I could come to church and my big toe hurts, etc." You get the picture. I got to the point that I would say, "It's a beautiful day today. Rain is liquid sunshine." I never asked her how she was because I didn't want to hear all the negatives.
Am I positive? Most of the time. I do have negatives that I can list right along side of yours, but we won't go into that. I am blessed today. My house is warm and it's thirteen degrees of beautiful sunshine outside. I have a God who loves me and gave his Son for my sins. I have a loving and supportive family. I am happy! I have friends who encourage me with my writing.
With all the positives, do you think I am going to complain? Not on your live! Have a beautiful positive day.
